MAITRES VIGNERONS
Les Maîtres Vignerons de la Presqu'île de Saint-Tropez is an association of 9 Domains, founded in 1964, which lies on the famous St. Tropez peninsula, where the world's jet setters enjoy holidaying. The climate is maritime and the subsoil consisting of sand, lime, slate, granite and volcanic material is perfect for making some of the very best Provence wines. Here the sun shines up to 3000 hours a year! The vineyards are cooled down by mistral wind, but also by cool winters from the nearby Mediterranean Sea and some vineyards are located directly to the sea.
The castle is from the beginning of the 18th century and is one of the most beautiful areas of the area, located at the famous beaches of Pampelonne in the municipality of Ramatuelle. They started planting 2 ha. in 1920, which today has become 50 ha. All grapes are naturally harvested, and one strives for perfection on all plans in the wine making.
